XO, Kitty is the newest hit original creation « Made in Netflix ». Skillfully blending humor, drama and romance, the show made it to the podium of most watched series. And as usual, the end of season 1 left viewers wanting more… But the question now is what will happen with XO, Kitty season 2.
Synopsis : Kitty Covey, who believes she is extremely knowledgeable on love, moves halfway across the world to Korea, aiming to reconnect with her long-distance boyfriend. She finds, however, that a relationship is much more complex when it is your own feelings of love at risk.
XO, Kitty season 1 has not failed to rise in the TOP 3 series of the moment. It must be said that teenage romances are always a sure thing for the platform « TOUDOUM ». XO, Kitty has thus distinguished itself by its intense rhythm, as well as by the various twists and turns that dot the series. Add to that a group of endearing teenagers and you have the perfect steamroller to binge-watch alone, as a couple or as a family. It should be noted that the episodes are about half an hour long, making the viewing all the more addictive. Indeed, this very short duration is quite adapted to this format of more feel good series. Only thing is, at the end of this season, the subscribers were left waiting for a sequel.
XO, Kitty season 2: what info do we have?
At the moment, Netflix has not yet made any announcement regarding the renewal of the series. It must be said that the platform often takes time to announce the continuation or cancellation of a show. The decision of a renewal (or not) is usually based on three parameters:

- Critical reception
- The budget of the series
Regarding XO, Kitty, several things point to the upcoming renewal with a season 2. Indeed, several tracks have been scattered to continue the story of our protagonists. A breakup, a declaration of love, a potential love triangle … As much to say that the spectators are already eager to know the continuation. And as far as the series has realized an excellent start, we can be confident about the next renewal.
If the series is indeed entitled to a second season, it will obviously not be expected immediately. Between the moment when it will be confirmed, the time of pre-production, shooting, editing and others … We might as well say that we should not expect XO, Kitty season 2 before the end of 2024, or even early 2025. And that’s without counting the writers’ strike that is currently affecting the industry.
